sooooooo life is good right now. Although I am not horribly motivated school wise, but I'm trying my best to get back into the swing of things..and yes I know its already the 4th week.....I have a French test tomorrow which I plan on staying up very late to study for....and next week is Logic and Geography...on the same day and back to back...which will take me being locked in the library pretty much all weekend to just catch up on things before I even start the real studying, but I can do it. I think my goal of 4 A's and only 1 B instead of 3 A's and 2 B's is pretty darned attainable. Whoop! So grand things in life right now include being accepted into Sigma Tau Delta....which is an English Honor Society....ridiculous amount of YAY for that...then I got re-accepted into Film Society which I am pretty excited about, things kinda went crazy and I didn't know if I had to re-apply or what and it turned out I did, but I got everything turned in and it worked out well in the end. Also, my nomination for NRHH (National Residence Hall Honorary....top 1% of student leaders) got accepted, which means I get to now do the real application and hopefully get accepted into that! Wish me luck! Other stuff going on is....lacrosse! We are going to ROCK this year! I'm so excited, all of our rookies are really great girls, and pretty awesome players as well! It’s pretty crazy.... =) OH! We have a game this weekend against the Houston Heat which is a high school all star team! It's at 11:30 out at the penberthy fields on Saturday if anyone wants to come! It'll be fun! What else what else....I went home this last weekend and had an AWESOME time....it was so great, I love getting to hang out with my sister, and my mom and dad as well. My mom is really funny, she bought my sister and I a bottle of wine because it was called "Woop Woop"......its some brand from Australia.....and its pretty good =) ....its just funny my mom saw it and thought of my sister and I...my dad was like "what?!".....hahaha....anyhoo that's it! ...so its been a long while since I have updated....and I kind of thought I might not even write anymore on my xanga site....but I guess I just felt like it right now...so never say never...=)...so last time I wrote anything in here was the day before I left to move back to College Station....and this year I felt like it came upon me like the trains do here...swift and without any real warning...how come I didn't get any flashing lights or gates that close down so you cannot pass?....anyway...moving up 3 flights of stairs wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it might be....after living with the luxury of no stairs for the past 2 years I was really dreading carrying a fridge...tv...FUTON...up the stairs....but thankfully it only took my family and I about 2 hours to get everything up....YAY and a thanks for family....so I move in....my family leaves....which I told myself I was ready for....but as much as you think you are prepared to leave these people that are hit with the title of "Parents"...and "Sister".....its still sad....at least for me...I miss not bugging my sister and for that matter my parents =)........so onward....Training week began the day after I moved in....and I was SO NERVOUS.....mostly about meeting the rest of the staff and hoping they'd like me....the rest of it...the listening/learning etc...I didn't have too much of a problem with....why is that? Shouldn't I be nervous about all the many things I was going to have to learn and not be nervous about being me? Weird how things work. I wish they worked opposite. So I did learn lots of things...and I still have LOTS of questions...I don't think I'll feel REALLY comfortable with everything until further on into the semester...when I get to experience more. Whew....then the 22nd was my birthday as well as the first day of check in....check in went really well....not as chaotic as I'd imagined it would be.....I only messed up 2 times...I gave people the keys to the wrong building....right room...just wrong F, H or K. For my birthday the rest of the staff and myself went out to eat at Blue Baker....it was soooo great....I definitley think all these people are some of the best I've met...everyone is so very different and so very cool in their own ways...they rock.....So the rest of this past week has been pretty boring, just lots of errand running, check in stuff, dorm stuff I guess....My family came to visit yesterday before everything gets crazy with the startup of school and lacrosse....it was lovely. Although I felt like all we did was run errands for stuff I need for school....like books and HEB....I wish we could have just sat around and done nothing...or toured campus or something.....next time...next time....so this enough about me for now....
